UK Professor Nitasha Kaul News: Indian-origin writer and professor Nitasha Kaul was invited by the Karnataka government to participate in the Constitution and Unity Conference of India. Nitasha Kaul alleged that she was stopped from entering India by the officials at Bengaluru International Airport. He claimed on X (earlier Twitter) that despite having the necessary documents, he was stopped at the airport on the basis of orders from Delhi.
Nitasha Kaul accused the central government
Indian-origin UK professor Nitasha Kaul alleged that she was barred from entering India because she had criticized the RSS. After this, many of her posts on social media platform X went viral, in which Nitasha Kaul was accused of spreading misinformation. Also, the decision of not giving him entry to India was justified. Professor Nitasha Kaul alleged, “The only reason the officials at the airport gave me for stopping me was that the order was from Delhi.”
He said, “All the arrangements along with my travel were made by the Karnataka government and I also have its official letter. I did not receive any notice or information in advance from Delhi that I was allowed to enter India. “Will not be given. I also had valid documents (UK passport and Indian Overseas Citizen of India).”

‘Spent many hours in immigration’
Professor Nitasha Kaul said, “I spent 12 hours on a flight from London to Bengaluru, several hours at immigration, where they shuffled me around and did not provide any information about the process.” He alleged that there was no flight back to London for the next 24 hours. Because of this he spent 24 hours in the holding cell, where he had to make several calls to the airport for a blanket and pillow. She told that she then took a 12-hour flight from there and came back to London.
He said, “I am not anti-India, I am anti-establishment and pro-democracy.” Tagging Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Social Welfare Minister HC Mahadevappa, External Affairs Minister Jaishankar and External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, he asked, how can the world’s largest democracy be threatened by my pen and words?
VHP targets Karnataka government
Karnataka VHP leader Girish Bhardwaj said, “It is a matter of shame for the Siddaramaiah government to invite such an anti-national. Nitasha Kaul, you talk nonsense against a country and expect us to give you a warm welcome?”
